I found it necessary to publish this guide in order to help any Reiki practitioner in their daily practice. I have read several books dedicated to Reiki and came to the conclusion that they are overly complicated and fail to offer what ordinary people—each and every one of us—truly need: simple solutions to the problems that surround us. I will base this work both on cases from my career as a therapist and on my daily life, so that everything becomes even clearer.

I know that, in the end, what truly matters for every Reiki practitioner is their personal experience, and that the true and greatest spiritual master is life itself. Although some of us have come to consider ourselves light, I hope that through my books I can bring us back with our feet firmly on the ground.

In this book, I also intend to speak about certain things that are not usually mentioned in Reiki books—not in order to diminish our power or knowledge in any way, but because many times we are so proud of what we know that we stop moving forward. I have measured the energy of various Reiki masters and noticed that many of them have become stuck. They have stopped evolving. Why? Because we consider ourselves sufficient and have failed to understand a simple Christian truth: “He who does not keep rising, falls.”

By unveiling the mysteries of Reiki, I compel them in this way to move forward. I lose nothing, Reiki loses nothing, but the ordinary person—the one who seeks the truth—gains. It is possible that some Reiki masters may lose, especially those who, from a material point of view, rely solely on Reiki, classes, and therapy, but this does not concern me at all. Truly, not at all.
